TATA’s one lakh car coming June 2008 from Singur.
Ratan Tata today asserted the Rs one lakh car will be rolled out from the Singur facility, West Bengal as scheduled in June 2008. “We went to West Bengal when the whole country was at our disposal, but as a responsible corporate citizen, we wanted to boost the development of the region and West Bengal in particular,” Tata said “In addition to that Telcon, a Tata Motors subsidiary engaged in manufacturing and sale of construction equipment, and Tata Power are also looking at investments in the state.”
Tata also told that they have already placed orders for equipment for its Singur project and the company was working hard to meet the deadline.
