Major Car Companies cut price, WagonR-35K, Spark-58K, Indica-30k
Many car manufacturers including, Ford, Hyundai, Maruti, Tata have lowered the price tag of their popular models after the decision by the Central Government on Friday to cut prices of petrol and diesel for the first time in 22 months, most of the auto companies are lining up discounts and schemes to lure customers.
Car maker Ford has announced that it will cut the price by
Rs 91,000 for Fiesta (EXI petrol)
Rs 51,000 for Fiesta (diesel)
Hyundai has cut the prices of
Santro – 12,000
i10 – 5,000
Accent – 4,000
Verna – 12,000
Maruti WagonR is cheaper by Rs 35,000
Alto – Rs 15,000.
Tata Motors too has reduced the prices of its cars.
Tata Indica is cheaper by Rs 30,000
Indigo (Excl CS) – Rs 40,000
Tata Sumo Grande’s – Rs 65,000.
General Motors reduced the prices by
Rs 58,000 – Spark
Rs 53,000 – Aveo
Other car makers are expected to announce price cuts soon.
